Additionally, users can upload floor plans to the switch to locate monitoring devices for easier inspection and planning. Real-time monitoring information and online/offline status are available, along with the ability to reboot PoE cameras directly from the GUI.
Intelligent Powered Device Monitoring
The IGS-6325 PoE++ series can be configured to monitor the status of connected PDs in real time using ping actions. If a PD stops responding, the switch will reset the PoE port power to restore operation, significantly enhancing reliability and reducing administrator management effort.
PoE Scheduling for Energy Saving
In line with global energy-saving trends and environmental protection, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series can effectively control power delivery. The built-in "PoE Schedule" function allows activation or deactivation of PoE power on each port at specified time intervals, helping small and medium businesses or enterprises save energy and costs.
Scheduled Power Reboot
The IGS-6325 PoE++ series enables scheduled weekly rebooting of connected PoE IP cameras or access points, reducing the chance of device failure caused by buffer overflow.
Layer 3 Routing Support
The IGS-6325 series allows administrators to enhance network performance by manually configuring static VLAN IPv4/IPv6 routing and automatic IPv4 OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) settings. OSPF is an internal dynamic link-state routing protocol that exchanges link states between Layer 3 switches and uses shortest path algorithms to generate routing tables.
Redundant Rings and Fast Recovery for Critical Network Applications
The IGS-6325 series supports redundant ring technology with strong, fast self-recovery capabilities to prevent outages and external intrusions. It utilizes advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching), Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power systems in industrial automation networks to increase system reliability and uptime in harsh factory conditions. For simple ring networks, data link recovery time can be as low as 10 ms.
Cybersecurity-Enhanced Network Minimizes Security Risks
Equipped with advanced cybersecurity features, the IGS-6325 series protects against threats and cyberattacks. It supports SSHv2, TLS, and SSL protocols to provide strong protection against advanced threats. Acting as a key data transmission point, it delivers over 95 watts PoE power to critical client devices while securing switch management and enhancing mission-critical network security without additional costs or deployment efforts.
