APC AP9640 Smart-UPS Network Management Card (Gen3)

Manage Your Smart-UPS
Using the AP9640 network card, you connect an APC Smart-UPS (equipped with SmartSlot) to the network. This enables you to monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP, EcoStruxure™ IT, web browser), and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers via PowerChute Network Shutdown.
PowerChute Network Shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux and ESXi hosts, as well as hyper-converged and virtual infrastructure*. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can correctly shut down your virtual machines, and the configured startup/shutdown sequence ensures they are powered back on.

Remote management and monitoring over the network
The network card can be managed remotely using an easy-to-use web browser interface, EcoStruxure™ IT remote management software (SFTWES1-DIGI) or another SNMP-compatible system. Note that EcoStruxure™ IT also includes the support contract features described below.

Remote Outlet Switching
Connected devices that have hung can be reset remotely using the controlled outlet groups already present on the UPS in combination with the network card, restoring functionality without the need for on-site staff.
Remote Monitoring Service
Optional Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Asset Advisor (WUPG1PEAA-UG-01) offers maximum protection and peace of mind, monitoring critical devices for you 24/7 in real time through SE's connected service center. In the event of incidents, SE will contact you directly on your mobile phone via smart alerts and immediately provide a resolution. Asset Advisor is a cloud-based remote monitoring service that can monitor, troubleshoot, and track issues on site in a timely and effective manner.
