With limited space in server rooms and rising maintenance costs, network administrators are more than ever seeking solutions that reduce both cost and footprint. ATEN KVM switches offer a space-saving, streamlined approach to KVM switching technology, integrating an LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad into a 1U rack-mount enclosure.
The CL1308 KVM switch features an integrated 19-inch LED-backlit LCD panel, enabling access and control over up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). Cascading to 8 additional switches is possible, increasing the total number of connected computers to 128, which can be controlled from a single keyboard-mouse-monitor console.
Setup is quick and simple; just connect the cables to the appropriate ports. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for computers. The CL1308 captures keyboard input directly, eliminating the need for any software configuration. Switching between computers can be easily performed by pressing the front-panel button, entering keyboard key sequences, or via the multilingual On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
