In the face of limited space in data centers and rising maintenance costs, network administrators are more than ever seeking solutions that reduce both costs and space requirements. ATEN LCD KVM switches provide space-saving, simplified KVM switching technology, integrating an LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad into a 1U rack-mount enclosure. The CL1308 KVM switch features an integrated 19-inch LED-backlit LCD panel that provides access to and control of up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). It can cascade up to 8 additional switches, enabling a total of 128 computers that can be controlled from a single keyboard-monitor-mouse console. Setup is quick and easy; simply connect cables to the appropriate ports. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for computers. CL1308 captures keyboard input directly, eliminating the need for any software configuration. Switching between computers can be easily performed by pressing the front-panel button, entering keyboard key combinations, or using the multilingual, menu-driven On-Screen Display (OSD).
