Slideaway CL5708 series – LCD KVM switches are a control unit that enables access to multiple computers from a single KVM console (keyboard, video and mouse) PS/2 or USB. One CL5708 can control up to 8 or 16 computers. Up to 31 additional KVM switches can be chained with CL5708, enabling control of up to 256 computers from one KVM console.
CL5708 provides space-saving, simplified approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, a backlit LCD monitor with LED indicators, 17\", 17.3\" or 19\" and a touchpad in a 1U rack-mountable sliding enclosure. To enhance security, CL5708 offers the option to use a fingerprint identification system to control access to both the CL5708 itself and the servers it manages.
CL5708 is based on a modular design. The KVM section can be detached from the switch section for convenient maintenance and repair.
