The CL5708 Slideaway – LCD KVM switch series is a control unit that provides access to multiple computers from a single KVM console (keyboard, video and mouse) PS/2 or USB. One CL5708 can control up to 8 or 16 computers. You can connect up to 31 additional KVM switches in a daisy chain, allowing you to control up to 256 computers from a single KVM console. CL5708 offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, a LED-backlit LCD monitor with diagonal sizes of 17", 17.3" or 19" and a touchpad in a retractable chassis mounted in a 1U rack. To enhance security, CL5708 offers the option to use fingerprint authentication to control access to both the CL5708 itself and to the servers it controls. CL5708 is based on a modular design. The KVM section can be detached from the switch section for convenient maintenance and repair. Note: Additional rack-mount kits are available.
