ATEN KVM switches offer a cost-saving solution, a streamlined approach to KVM switching technology by integrating an LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad into a 1U, rack-mountable enclosure. The CL1308 KVM switch features a built-in LED-backlit 19-inch LCD panel, enabling access and control of up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). It can be cascaded to 8 additional switches, increasing the total number of computers that can be controlled from a single keyboard-monitor-mouse console to 128 computers. Setup is quick and easy; simply connect cables to the appropriate ports. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for computers. The CL1308 captures keyboard input directly, eliminating the need for any software configuration. Switching between computers can be easily accomplished by manually pressing the button on the front panel, using keyboard shortcut combinations, or via the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
