Featuring a 4/3" image sensor, the AXIS Q1808-LE provides outstanding low-light performance. And with Lightfinder 2.0 technology it delivers true colors even in near-total darkness. Furthermore, the Deep Learning Processing Unit (DLPU) enables running advanced features and powerful analytics at the edge. It offers enhanced processing and storage capabilities, allowing you to collect and analyze even more data than before. Moreover, it provides valuable metadata to facilitate fast, easy and effective forensic search of live or recorded video.
Excellent coverage in wide, open spaces
With a wide (12 – 48 mm) Canon lens and a horizontal field of view of 90°-21°, the AXIS Q1808-LE is ideal for surveillance in wide, open spaces. It offers 4x zoom and excellent light sensitivity to provide superb forensic detail. Additionally, white LED IR (850 nm) enables switching to white light to deter unwanted activity.
Excellent details at long distances
With a telephoto Canon lens (50 – 150 mm) and a horizontal field of view of 21°-7°, the AXIS Q1808-LE is ideal for obtaining excellent detail at long distances. With an additional 3x zoom, it is ideal for identification. Furthermore, optimized IR enables surveillance in complete darkness at distances up to 150 m (500 ft) without the need for additional illumination.

Even at night, when images contain noise, this powerful camera provides low bandwidth and excellent detail. Additionally, PoE out allows connecting and powering another device without extra cabling. This eliminates the need to rent additional ports and simplifies installation. For example, you can easily connect a speaker, strobe siren, or even another camera. Moreover, dynamic power mode reduces energy usage by up to 50% in certain temperature ranges.

AXIS Q1808-LE includes Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that protects the device and safeguards sensitive information from unauthorized access. With monitored inputs, you will be alerted if the connection is interrupted. It can be powered by DC and PoE, and even in case of a power outage, redundant DC power ensures reliable operation to protect data. This rugged, outdoor-ready camera carries IP66, IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X ratings and withstands temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F). Additionally, thanks to premium QoS features of the Q-series, it consistently guarantees excellent image quality.
