The EV charger, beautifully designed by former Koenigsegg chief designer Joachim Nordwall, is easy to install, simple to use and connected to Charge Amps Cloud and Charge Amps App. This enables the owner to have full control over the charging process and to take advantage of all our smart solutions. Charge Amps Dawn also features a powerful Linux processor capable of handling a large amount of data.
Moreover, Charge Amps Dawn is an excellent choice for semi-public areas (e.g., housing cooperatives and office car parks), where several EV chargers are typically installed. Here the Dawn has a big advantage: the ability to connect power cables in series. This means the installer can simply and easily connect the car chargers in series, saving both time and money.
Charge Amps Dawn is equipped with a certified MID meter
The MID meter measures and displays real energy consumption during charging. This gives the end user 100% transparency and the ability to accurately verify how many kW were used to charge the EV.
The MID meter is also required in many countries, which means that Charge Amps Dawn complies with European standards and is ready for European markets.
Charge Amps Dawn – the installer’s best friend
Because we strive to be installers’ best friends, we have designed Charge Amps Dawn with a backplate where installation and configuration take place. Thanks to the backplate, cable routing and connection are greatly simplified.
Additionally, we offer the Charge Amps Installer app, which guides the installer smoothly through the entire installation process, step by step.
Charge Amps Dawn also has a built-in Type B RCD in the charger itself. This protects the electric car from faults and ensures that the car will not be damaged.
