Aruba Instant On 1960 12XGT 4SFP+
Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are advanced, intelligently managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit switches that can be stacked, designed for small and growing businesses, easy to deploy and affordable. These switches are designed to scale with business growth, making it easier to add employees, devices, and applications. The Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are built to handle high-bandwidth applications such as voice calls and video conferencing, enabling persistent connectivity, improving user experiences and application performance. These switches offer flexible management options: a local web interface or the Instant On mobile app and a cloud-based web portal.
Features
High-performance Gigabit with 10GbE for advanced small businesses
- Each model in the Aruba Instant On 1960 switch family includes four 10GbE connections for connecting to servers, network storage devices or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T connections deliver 10GbE over copper Category 6a cabling, enabling straightforward, cost-effective high-bandwidth connections up to 100 meters away.
- In PoE models, PoE power up to 30W for PoE Class 4 devices such as access points, surveillance cameras and VoIP phones, and up to 60W PoE for PoE Class 6 devices such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras and IP video phones with video.
Ease of deployment and network management for small organizations
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a full portfolio of options to increase flexibility for small businesses. It consists of five models, including two (2) 24-port models and two (2) 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, and a 10-Gigabit aggregation switch of 12 ports.
- PoE models 24-port and 48-port have a power budget of 370W and 600W respectively to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series can be deployed with two management modes — Instant On cloud management (accessible via mobile app and/or web portal) and a local web-based interface.
- Each switch has a movable tag, known as a baggage tag, on the front panel of the switch.
- The tag includes a QR code that contains switch identification information (SKU number, SKU name, serial number and MAC address) for easy onboarding of the switch using the Instant On mobile app.
Cloud-managed stacking convenience
- The Aruba Instant On mobile app and cloud-based web portal make cloud-managed stacking simple — just follow the on-screen prompts to stack up to four (4) Aruba Instant On 1960 switches and manage them as a single unit.
- The Aruba Instant On mobile app automatically discovers members, making it easier to configure and remotely manage multiple stack members.
- Automated configurations and simplified workflows enable users to manage all stack members from a single shared dashboard without rebooting the device.
Robust security protecting your network
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 series supports VLANs and access control lists (ACLs) to define what data can be visible to which users.
- Use 802.1X with a RADIUS server to ensure network access only for known and authorized users.
- Supports automatic DoS monitoring and protects the network from malicious attacks.
