Premium Gigabit with 10GbE for advanced small businesses
- Each Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series model includes four 10GbE connections for connecting servers, network storage devices, or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T connections deliver 10GbE over Category 6a copper cabling for straightforward, affordable, high-bandwidth connections up to 100 meters.
- In PoE models, PoE power is available up to 30W for PoE Class 4 devices such as access points, cameras and VoIP phones, and up to 60W for PoE Class 6 devices such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras and IP video phones.
Easy deployment and network management for small organizations
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a complete range of options to increase flexibility for small businesses. It consists of five models, including two (2) 24-port models and two (2) 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, and a 12-port 10-Gigabit aggregation switch.
- The 24-port and 48-port PoE models have power budgets of 370W and 600W, respectively, to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series can be deployed in two management modes — cloud management via Instant On (accessible via mobile app and/or web portal) and a local in-network GUI.
- Each switch has a removable tag on the front panel. The tag contains a QR code that contains information about the switch identifier (SKU number, SKU name, serial number and MAC address) to facilitate adding the switch via the Instant On mobile app.

- The Aruba Instant On mobile app and the cloud portal simplify cloud-managed stacking — simply follow the prompts to connect up to four Aruba Instant On 1960 switches and manage them as a single unit.
