Aruba Instant On 1960 Switch 24G 20-Port Class 4 / 4-Port Class 6 PoE 2x10G 2xSFP+ 370W
Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are advanced, intelligently managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit switches designed for small and growing businesses that are easy to deploy and affordable. These switches are designed to scale with your business, making it easier to add new employees, devices, and applications. Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are built to handle today’s bandwidth-intensive applications such as voice and video conferences, enabling constant connectivity to improve user experience and application performance. These switches offer flexible management options: local web UI or Instant On mobile app and cloud-based web portal.
Features
High-performance Gigabit networking with 10GbE for advanced small businesses
- Each Aruba Instant On 1960 switch model includes four 10GbE ports for connecting servers, network storage devices, or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T ports deliver 10GbE over Category 6a copper cabling for straightforward, affordable high-bandwidth connections up to 100 meters.
- In PoE models, PoE power is available up to 30W for Class 4 PoE devices such as access points, surveillance cameras and VoIP phones, and up to 60W for Class 6 PoE devices such as PTZ cameras and video IP phones.
Easy deployment and network management for small organizations
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a complete portfolio of options to increase flexibility for small businesses. It consists of five models, including two 24-port models and two 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, and a 12-port 10-Gigabit aggregation switch.
- The 24- and 48-port PoE models have power budgets of 370W and 600W respectively to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 series can be deployed using two management modes – cloud-based Instant On management (accessible via mobile app and/or web portal) and a local web interface.
- Each switch features a removable tag on the front panel, known as the asset tag.
- The tag contains a QR code with the switch identifier (SKU number, SKU name, serial number and MAC address) for quick addition of the switch via the Instant On mobile app.
Ease of use with cloud-managed stacking
- The Aruba Instant On mobile app and cloud-based web portal simplify stack management—simply follow the prompts to create a stack of up to four Aruba Instant On 1960 switches and manage them as a single unit.
- The Aruba Instant On mobile app automatically discovers members, making it easier to configure and remotely manage multiple stack members.
- Automatic configurations and streamlined workflows allow users to manage all stack members from a single dashboard, without needing to restart devices.
Solid security for protecting your network
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series supports VLANs and access control lists to define data visibility restrictions for which users can view which data.
- Use 802.1X with a RADIUS server to ensure that only known and authorized users can access your network.
- Supports automatic DoS attack prevention monitoring and protects the network from malicious attacks.
