Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are advanced, intelligently managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit switches designed for small and growing businesses that are easy to deploy and affordable. These switches are designed to scale with business growth, simplifying the addition of employees, devices, and applications. Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are built to support today’s bandwidth-intensive applications, such as voice calls and video conferencing, ensuring continuous connectivity to improve user experience and application performance. These switches offer flexible management options: a local web interface or the Instant On mobile app, and a cloud-based web portal.

- Each Aruba Instant On 1960 switch model includes four 10 GbE connections for connecting to servers, network storage devices in the network, or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T connections provide 10 GbE over copper with Category 6a cabling for simple, affordable, high-bandwidth connections over a maximum distance of 100 meters.
- In PoE models, PoE power is available up to 30W for Class 4 PoE devices such as access points, surveillance cameras, and VoIP phones, and up to 60W PoE for Class 6 PoE devices such as PTZ cameras and IP video phones.

- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a full portfolio of options to increase flexibility for small businesses. It comprises five models, including two (2) 24-port models and two (2) 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, plus an aggregation switch with 12 x 10-Gigabit ports.
- PoE models with 24 ports and 48 ports have power budgets of 370W and 600W respectively to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series can be deployed in two management modes — cloud management via Instant On (accessible through the mobile app and/or web portal) and local web-based management.
- Each switch features a removable tag, known as a luggage tag, on the front panel of the switch.
- The tag contains a QR code that includes the switch identifier information (SKU number, SKU name, serial number, and MAC address) for easy provisioning of the switch via the Instant On mobile app.
