- Each model in the Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series includes four 10GbE ports to connect servers, networked storage devices in the network, or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T ports provide 10GbE over Category 6a copper cabling for simple, affordable high-bandwidth connections up to a maximum distance of 100 meters.
- In PoE models PoE power is available up to 30W for PoE Class 4 devices such as access points, surveillance cameras and VoIP phones, and up to 60W for PoE Class 6 devices, such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras and video IP phones.

- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a complete portfolio of options to increase small business flexibility. It consists of five models, including two (2) 24-port models and two (2) 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, and an aggregation switch with 12 10-Gigabit ports.
- PoE models with 24 and 48 ports have power budgets of 370W and 600W respectively to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 series can be deployed with two management modes – Instant On cloud management (accessible via the mobile app and/or web portal) and the local web UI.
- Each switch has a front-panel tag, known as an identifier tag, with a QR code containing information about the switch identifier (SKU number, SKU name, serial number and MAC address) for easy addition of the switch via the Instant On mobile app.
