Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are advanced, intelligently managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit switches designed for small and growing businesses that are easy to deploy and affordable. Aruba Instant On 1960 switches are built to support today’s bandwidth-intensive applications such as voice calls and video conferencing, delivering continuous connectivity to improve user experience and application performance. - Each model in the Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series includes four 10 GbE connections for connecting to servers, networked storage devices, or other switches.
- Two 10GBASE-T connections deliver 10 GbE over copper with Category 6a cabling for simple, affordable, high-bandwidth connections up to a maximum distance of 100 meters.
- In PoE models, PoE power is available up to 30W for PoE Class 4 devices such as access points, surveillance cameras, and VoIP phones, and up to 60W PoE for PoE Class 6 devices such as PTZ cameras and video-enabled IP phones.

- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series offers a complete portfolio of options to increase flexibility for small businesses. It consists of five models, including two (2) 24-port models and two (2) 48-port models in PoE and non-PoE configurations, plus a 12-port 10-Gigabit aggregation switch.
- PoE models with 24 ports and 48 ports have power budgets of 370W and 600W, respectively, to support the latest PoE-powered IoT devices.
- The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series can be deployed in two management modes – Instant On cloud management (accessible via the mobile app and/or web portal) and a local web interface.
- Each switch has a removable label on the front panel, referred to as a baggage tag.
