Product Overview
The LevelOne FPS-1031 print server is an ideal network printing solution for small offices, home offices, schools, and other businesses requiring printer sharing within the same network. This print server features a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port with auto-negotiation and a male Centronic DB-36 port for connecting parallel printers.
Support for Multiple Operating Systems and Network Printing Protocols
The FPS-1031 is a single parallel port print server supporting Windows ME, 2000, XP, Vista, Mac OS 8.1 and later, UNIX/Linux, and Netware (Bindery/NDS).
Supported network protocols include TCP/IP, IPX, NetBEUI, AppleTalk, LPR, and SMB over TCP/IP, providing flexible compatibility with various network clients on the same office network. The FPS-1031 also supports Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) and Windows print monitoring technology for tracking print jobs.
Easy Installation Wizard
The LevelOne FPS-1031 is easy to configure via a web browser or the Windows configuration utility included on the CD-ROM. The print server can be managed through a web-based user interface, and firmware updates can be performed via TFTP, Windows installer, or the web interface.
