Lindy 70 m Cat6 4x4 HDMI 4K60 Matrix Extender is a robust, professional solution for distributing 4K HDMI signals to multiple displays using standard Cat6 network cables from four separate HDMI sources.
Professional HDMI content distribution: a 4x4 matrix enables routing HDMI content to four separate locations, using the included receivers, over distances up to 70 m, making it ideal for sharing or switching content to different displays in sports bars, events, or home theaters. Each Cat6 extension output also includes a simultaneous HDMI output for local monitoring for each zone, or for larger installations with nearby displays. Each port also supports simple independent scaling up to 1920x1080, ensuring optimal performance across displays. Professional EDID management ensures maximum compatibility with both source devices and displays. The following distance/resolution combinations are supported:- 70 m with Cat6 cable: 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, 3D@1920x1080- 40 m with Cat6A cable: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit
Stunning 4K and HDR support: With support for resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz, this matrix delivers exceptional clarity for video, including movies, sports, gaming, and live broadcasts. HDR support provides a significantly wider color gamut, higher peak brightness and deeper blacks, enabling better dynamic contrast. This delivers an engaging visual experience for viewers in a variety of applications, including home cinema installations, wider distribution in educational buildings, or advertising and commercial displays.
Flexible control: Included IR cables enable straightforward remote control from any receiver location, eliminating the need to be on the source side in the configuration, while the front-panel buttons on the main unit provide easy control from the transmitter side. RS-232 and Ethernet connections also enable integration with larger control systems. The built-in Web-GUI interface provides very simple operation from a connected computer.
Power over Cable (PoC) distribution: The Cat6 18G matrix also supports PoC (Power over Cable), allowing power to be distributed together with audio and video over Cat6 cabling. This enables using only a single power supply on the transmitter side, delivering a minimalist and time-saving setup at receiver locations.
Note: The cited resolutions are achievable with a direct link between the transmitter and receivers, using high-quality solid-core Cat6 cable. Using a different cable type, wall plates, connectors, or patch panels will reduce maximum distances.
