2TB HDD RDX Media

The RDX® QuikStor™ solution is fully backward and forward compatible, ensuring you protect your investment in both the drive and the media. RDX media are highly durable and shock resistant to withstand accidental drops from a cabinet, desk, or during transport. Additionally, media can be secured with cartridge encryption.
Tandberg Data offers two different types of RDX media — hard-disk-based media inside and SSD-based media inside. Regular RDX media are designed to provide easy-to-use, affordable, and reliable data protection. SSD-based RDX media are designed for customers who are willing to pay more for protecting environments that require extreme speed and durability in a portable memory device.
The performance of RDX media varies, with hard-disk-based drives reading and writing data up to 100 MB/s, and SSD-based drives reading and writing data up to 180 MB/s. Customers can choose among hard-disk capacities of 320GB, 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB or SSD media capacities of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB or 512GB. RDX media are designed for 5,000 load/unload cycles, providing years of daily use.
