15-Slot Media Converter Chassis (AC Power)

High-density chassis designed for multiple media converter installations.
The MC-1500R offers 15 slots compatible with a wide range of PLANET media converter series. It supports up to 15 PLANET Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, or VDSL2 converters in a single enclosure. The 15-slot 19" rack chassis saves fiber optic cabling space, simplifies network structure, and facilitates media conversion maintenance.
Extremely reliable design ensuring continuous operation.
The MC-1500R series supports an optional hot-swappable redundant power supply (RPS) to guarantee uninterrupted operation. Both MC-1500R and MC-1500R48 come with a 100~240V AC power supply unit and a -48V DC power supply unit included. To enhance reliability, each chassis has one additional power supply slot reserved for this optional purpose. The continuous power systems are specially designed to meet the demands of modern facilities requiring the highest power integrity.
Plug and Play / Flexible Installation
The MC-1500R offers installation flexibility and a cost-effective scalable solution. With independent power for each slot, any converter can be replaced without causing downtime to others. Media converters and power modules can be connected or disconnected at any time. Each slot in the media converter chassis can be populated with any PLANET media converter series, including FT, GT, VC-20x, and ICS, to provide media conversion between fiber optics, telephone wires, and copper lines in serial mode.
