A unique 802.3bt PoE++ solution for enhanced environments
Compliant with IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Plus Plus technology, PLANET IGS-6325-8UP2S2X L3 industrial managed PoE++ switch is equipped with eight 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.3bt PoE++ ports, each delivering up to 95 W, and two 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP interfaces in a rugged metal IP30 enclosure, ensuring reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. It supports rich PoE operation modes, including 90W 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++, 95W PoH (Power over HD-BASE-T) mode, and a forced 4-pair mode to address compatibility issues of PoE PD devices deployed in the field.
Capable of operating over a wide temperature range from -40 to 75°C, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series can be deployed in virtually any challenging environment. The IGS-6325 PoE++ series also supports DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient space utilization in a cabinet.
802.3bt PoE++ – 90~95 W power delivery via 4-pair UTP
Because the IGS-6325 PoE++ series adopts the IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standard and PoH technology, it can deliver up to 95 W, using all four pairs of standard Ethernet Cat5e/6 cabling to deliver power and data at full speed to every PoE PD. It provides triple power compared to conventional PoE+ 802.3at and is ideal for meeting rising power demands of high-consumption network devices, such as:

To meet the needs of various PoE-powered devices, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series provides five PoE power-output modes to choose from.

Convenient and intelligent ONVIF discovery
PLANET has developed a new, excellent feature — ONVIF support — designed to work with IP video surveillance. From the GUI of the IGS-6325 PoE++ series, customers only need one click to discover and display all ONVIF devices via the network application.
Additionally, customers can upload floor plans to the switch, enabling the location of surveillance devices for easier inspection and planning. Furthermore, users can obtain live monitoring information and online/offline status, and manage PoE camera reboots from the GUI.
Intelligent device-status monitoring.
The IGS-6325 PoE++ series can be configured to monitor the status of connected PoE PDs in real time via ping. When a PD stops responding, the IGS-6325 PoE++ will reset power to the PoE port and bring the PD back online. This greatly improves reliability because the PoE port will cycle power to the PD, reducing administrative overhead.
PoE scheduling for energy saving
In response to global energy-saving trends and environmental protection, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series can efficiently control power, in addition to delivering high power. The built-in 'PoE Scheduling' feature helps enable or disable PoE on each PoE port at defined time intervals, a powerful function to help small and medium businesses save energy and money.
Periodic power scheduling
The IGS-6325 PoE++ series allows rebooting each connected PoE IP camera or PoE access point at a specified time each week. This helps reduce the likelihood of IP camera or AP failure due to buffer overflow.
Layer 3 routing support
The IGS-6325 series enables administrators to efficiently increase network performance by manually configuring IPv4/IPv6 Layer-3 static routing VLANs and by automatic IPv4 OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) settings. OSPF is an internal dynamic routing protocol for an autonomous system based on link-state. The protocol builds a database of link-status, exchanging link-state information between Layer-3 switches, and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a routing table from that database.
Redundant ring, fast recovery for critical network applications

It supports SSHv2, TLS and SSL to provide robust protection against advanced threats. As a critical point for transmitting data and delivering up to 95-watt PoE output to essential customer equipment in business networks, the cybersecurity features of the IGS-6325 protect the switch management and enhance security of the critical network without added costs and deployment effort.
Modbus TCP provides flexible industrial-network connectivity
Thanks to the supported Modbus TCP/IP protocol, the IGS-6325 series can easily integrate with SCADA systems, HMI systems, and other factory-automation data-acquisition systems. It allows administrators to remotely monitor the switch’s operational information, port information, communication status, and DI/DO status, enabling enhanced plant-wide observation and maintenance.
IEEE 1588 timing protocol for industrial compute networks
The IGS-6325 series is ideal for telecom and Carrier Ethernet applications, supporting MEF service delivery and timing over packet-based solutions for IEEE 1588 and Ethernet synchronization.
SMTP/SNMP Trap event notification
The IGS-6325 series offers event notification to help diagnose abnormal devices related to network outages or reboot events.
Effective alarm notifications for better protection
The IGS-6325 series supports a fail-alarm feature that can notify users when something is wrong with the switches. With this feature, users won’t have to waste time troubleshooting. It helps save time and resources.
Digital input and digital output for external alarms
The IGS-6325 series supports digital input and digital output on its front panel. This external alarm allows users to use the digital input to detect and log the status of external devices (e.g., a door-contact detector) and to send event alarms to administrators. The digital output can be used to alert administrators when a port on the IGS-6325 shows link down, link up or power failure.
Robust Layer 2 features
The IGS-6325 series can be programmed for advanced Layer 2 switch-management features such as dynamic port aggregation, 802.1Q VLAN tagging, VLAN Q-in-Q, Private VLAN, MSTP, QoS from Layer 2 to Layer 4, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping and MLD snooping. By aggregating the supported ports, the IGS-6325 enables a high-speed trunk group that supports multiple ports and also provides redundancy.

To ensure efficient management, the IGS-6325 series is equipped with console, Web and SNMP management interfaces.

Powerful network security
The IGS-6325 series offers a comprehensive Access Control List (ACL) from Layer 2 to Layer 4 to enforce edge security. It can be used to restrict network access by dropping packets based on source/destination IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports or defined typical network applications. Its protection mechanism also includes authentication of users and devices based on port and MAC 802.1X. With Private VLAN, communication between edge ports can be blocked to ensure user privacy.
Advanced IP security
The IGS-6325 series also provides DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection to prevent IP attacks and drop ARP packets with incorrect MAC addresses. Network administrators can now build highly secure enterprise networks with much less time and effort than before.
Flexible and scalable fiber Ethernet solution
With an additional 2-port fiber uplink 1000BASE-SX/LX, administrators can flexibly select the appropriate SFP transceiver according to the required transmission distance or speed to effectively extend the network. The IGS-6325 series offers high throughput and strong processing power.

The IGS-6325 series supports SFP-DDM (digital diagnostic monitor), which greatly helps administrators monitor real-time parameters of SFP transceivers such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage.
