Business dongle management solution
Dongleserver ProMAX® is the larger version for data centers, providing access to software license dongles over the network. Compared to the smaller dongleserver Pro®, the dongleserver ProMAX® offers additional reliability and redundancy with two built-in power supplies and two network connections. Additionally, the parameters, passwords and certificates are automatically copied to the integrated SD card. The dongle server is also equipped with a multi-segment status and fault display to provide information at a glance. Optional telescopic rails (Rack Mount Kit 3) facilitate access to the device in the data center.
It couldn’t be easier!
The user connects to the given dongle using the UTN Manager software tool and uses licensed software locally if needed. During this time the dongle cannot be used by another user. When the user finishes using the software and the connection to the dongle is deactivated, the dongle becomes available to another user. This rule can be applied to any copy-protected software and ensures customers that they are always on the safe side with the Dongleserver ProMAX®, because software licensing regulations are never bypassed.
In case of a failure, for example if the dongle server is damaged, the Dongleserver ProMAX® has two installed power supplies and two network connections to ensure maximum reliability. Additionally, the configuration can be copied to the SD card and quickly transferred to another Dongleserver ProMAX®. The Dongleserver ProMAX® is also equipped with a multi-segment fault display to diagnose issues quickly, such as “SD card error” or “power supply failure”.
