EdgeSwitch offers an extensive set of advanced Layer 2 switching features and protocols, along with Layer 3 routing capabilities.
Switching Performance
EdgeSwitch supports simultaneous traffic processing on all ports at full line rate without packet loss.
24-port models support a total non-blocking throughput of up to 26 Gbps, while 48-port models support up to 70 Gbps.
PoE+ Flexibility
EdgeSwitch models are available with 24 or 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports featuring automatic IEEE 802.3af/at detection or configurable 24V Passive PoE to simplify your infrastructure.
By default, EdgeSwitch automatically detects 802.3af/at devices and supplies PoE accordingly. For 24V Passive PoE devices, enable passive PoE manually via the EdgeSwitch configuration interface.
Fiber Connectivity
EdgeSwitch provides fiber connectivity options for growing networks. 24-port models include two SFP ports supporting up to 1 Gbps uplinks.
For high-performance uplinks, 48-port models include two SFP and two SFP+ ports supporting up to 10 Gbps uplinks.
Comprehensive User Interface
Designed for convenient management, the EdgeSwitch configuration interface allows administrators to configure and monitor switch features via a graphical user interface.
Advanced users can access a standard command-line interface (CLI) via Telnet and SSH.
