It supports 802.1Q tagged VLANs with up to 255 VLAN groups. With port aggregation, it enables high-speed trunking across multiple ports, supporting up to 10 trunk groups with 8 ports each and also supports failover switching.

For effective management, the IGS-10020MT includes console, Web, and SNMP management interfaces. Its built-in web-based management interface offers an easy-to-use, platform-independent configuration mechanism. Text-based management is accessible via Telnet and console port. It also supports secure remote management through standard management software with SNMPv3 encrypted sessions.
Powerful Layer 2 to Layer 4 Security
The IGS-10020MT provides comprehensive Access Control Lists (ACLs) from Layer 2 to Layer 4 to enforce edge security. It can restrict network access by dropping packets based on source/destination IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or defined common network applications. Private VLAN functionality prevents communication between edge ports to ensure user privacy.
Flexibility and Expansion Solutions
Two additional built-in mini-GBIC slots support triple-speed 100/1000/2500BASE-X SFP fiber modules, allowing administrators to select appropriate SFP transceivers based on required transmission distance and speed. Distances can be extended from 550 meters (multimode fiber) up to 10/40/80/120 kilometers (single-mode or WDM fiber), suitable for data center and enterprise distribution applications.

The IGS-10020MT supports SFP-DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring), greatly assisting network administrators in real-time monitoring of SFP parameters such as optical power, input optical power, temperature, laser current, and transceiver supply voltage.
